Special Accommodation Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is guaranteed by advance reservations. Guests who are unable to climb, have health or mobility issues, or are unable sit in the bleachers are welcomed to reserve seats in the Special Accommodations area (folding chairs on the floor level).
We ask that requests are limited to those who need special accommodations plus one additional person to assist. We understand that this may cause families and guests to be separated during the ceremony and apologize for that inconvenience. However, in order to accommodate the growing number of guests with special needs, we must ask that only those needing special seating utilize those seats. Due to high demand of Special Accommodation Seating, we must limit the number of seats one can request to 4 tickets.
The website will accept requests starting Monday, April 3 at 12midnight. Any Special Accommodation requests AFTER Friday, April 28, MUST made in person at the Office of Student Life, 2nd Floor Nicholson Center.
To request special seating, go to www.rmu.edu/commencement and click on the link for Special Accommodations.
